About This Plant

Dwarf Japanese Sweet Flag (Acorus gramineus 'Pusillus') is an ornamental foliage perennial with narrow, green, grass-like leaves. This compact cultivar forms a low clump and is valued for texture in borders, edging, pathways, rock gardens, containers, and moist garden areas. It is not a true grass, though it resembles one. The plant blooms in spring with inconspicuous flowers and prefers moderate to moist moisture in moist, moisture-retentive soil.
