About This Plant
Pineapple Guava, also known as Feijoa sellowiana (Acca sellowiana), is an evergreen shrub grown for its delightful fruit and edible red flowers with white sepals. It typically grows 12-15 ft tall (up to 20 ft when trained) and spreads 6-10 ft, making it suitable for hedgerows, windbreaks, or ornamental landscaping. The plant is valued for its sweet-fragrant blooms and tropical-flavored fruit, and it attracts birds with glossy green leaves and silver undersides.
